Eurobake's Original Inipit of Malolos, Bulacan
Inipit is a famous BulaqueƱo delicacy which originated in Malolos, Bulacan. It was the family-owned bakery, Eurobake, which created and introduced this sweet pastry. Other bakeries have imitated this product but Eurobake's original inipit remains to the favorite among BulaqueƱos.
Inipit is basically a thin chiffon sandwich with a custard filling. The custard filling has the right sweetness, and it is neither too thick nor too thin. The chiffon layers are perfectly moist and its light taste balances the sweetness of the custard filling.
When you visit Malolos, Bulacan, don't forget to buy Inipit as pasalubong. A small box (single layer) costs P150.00 while the bigger box (double layer) costs P250.00. If you are bringing it to Manila, make sure that you keep it inside the refrigerator when you get home.
Eurobake's main branch is located along MacArthur Highway, near the border of Malolos and Guiguinto. If you are coming from Manila, take the Tabang exit.
