California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), an international casual dining restaurant chain specializing in California-style pizza, recently released its latest promo in the Philippines. With the Pick Your Match Promo, guests get to choose a combination of salad, pasta and pizza for only P999.00*
CPK Philippines currently has nine branches in Luzon and during a recent Staycation in Alabang, we visited one of their branches in Alabang Town Center (ATC). Joining us were (L-R) Ms.Rochelle Mescallado, Dining Shift Leader, Ms. Aimee Lava, Marketing Manager of Global Restaurants Concepts Inc., & Ms. Josan Ley, Assistant General Manager.
Choices include new dishes developed by CPK Philippines especially for the Pick Your Match menu. Coming up with a short and uncomplicated menu makes is much easier to choose and match dishes that suit your taste. This trio of salad, pasta and pizza is good enough for three to four persons. At P999.00 (excluding 10% service charge) this is truly a great deal. During our visit at CPK Alabang Town Center, we tried the best-sellers from the Pick Your Match menu:
Watermelon Salad
We started our meal with Watermelon Salad consisting of lettuce, apple slices, cheese, candied walnuts and chunks of watermelon, and tossed in a special dressing. This salad is both appetizing and refreshing.
Spicy Arrabbiata
Spaghetti noodles are mixed with Arrabbiata sauce made of tomatoes, red chili, garlic and olive oil. The pasta dish is made extra flavorful with the addition of black olives, capers and sundried chilis. It's mildly spicy. If you prefer it more spicy, you can simply add chili flakes to it. I loved this pasta and would order it again on our next visit to CPK.
Italian Sausage
This hand-tossed pizza includes bits of Italian sausage, black olives, rings of bell peppers and mozzarella cheese. It's quite a simple pizza recipe but the combination of flavors and spices makes it a kind of pizza you wish you can have for yourself. If you prefer spicy food, adding some hot sauce will do the magic.
Iced Tea
Not included in the P999.00 promo are the drinks, but we highly recommend their house blended iced teas. For an additional P120.00 you get a single-serve carafe of iced tea. You can choose between lemon iced tea or raspberry iced tea. We recommend the lemon iced tea.
