The same keycard is also used as an electronic key to open the door to your assigned room. Aside from its security features, the keycard also has an energy-saving feature. It acts as a power switch to the individual rooms. When inserted inside the slot, power inside the room will be switched on. When removed, it will automatically cut off the supply of electricity inside the room. This avoid unnecessary consumption of electricity and allows the hotel to cut down on electricity expenses and ultimately keep their room rates affordable.

Rooms are available in two types of bed-configuration: the Double Room which has one (1) double bed, and the Twin Room which has two (2) single beds, both of which can accommodate up to two guests. Both room types measure 14sqm in average. Red Planet Hotel Ortigas also has four units of Accessible Rooms (21sqm in size) that are reserved for guests with disabilities.

Cleanliness of the bathroom is also something we consistently observe in all Red Planet Hotels branches that we have stayed in so far.

Some of the basic in-room amenities include a ceiling fan, a hairdryer and an electronic safe. These are already included in the basic room rate and guests may use these free of charge. As of March 2014, the basic room rate at Red Planet Hotel Ortigas is at P888.00 per night and adjusts depending on the date and occupancy rate of the hotel. The Basic Room Rate is subject to an additional 10% service charge, 12% VAT and 0.70% local tax.

Addon Package Rates are already inclusive of applicable service charge and taxes.
TIP: The Comfort Package is actually cheaper than purchasing a 24-hour airconditioning credit.
