Mercedes Country Lounge is a budget hotel in Sorsogon City located at the city's commercial center. It is strategically located along the national highway (Rizal Street) and within walking distance to restaurants such as Bigg's Diner, banks and transport terminals. It is also an ideal base for travelers who wish to explore nearby attractions or go on a day trip to the neighboring Gubat for surfing.

Last February 2014, we stayed at their Executive Room (Room 305), the only airconditioned room in the hotel with ensuite toilet and bath with heated shower. It also has an LCD TV and free WiFi Internet access. At P800.00 per night for single occupancy and P900.00 per night for double occupancy, the executive room which provides your basic needs in an accommodation is a great deal!
The ensuite bathroom is fairly spacious, clean and looks well maintained. The towels provided smelled clean and fresh. The toilet has a bidet installed, something you rarely see in budget accommodations. The water pressure is excellent.

They also have four newly refurbished Deluxe Ordinary Rooms. Room rates are at P400.00 per night for single occupancy and P450.00 per night for double occupancy. These rooms do not have ensuite bathroom but the common bathrooms are located on the same floor as the rooms. Common bathrooms has no heated shower.

Deluxe Ordinary Rooms are non-airconditioned but a ceiling fan is installed in every room. Guests can also open the windows to keep the room well ventilated. A television set is also provided in each room.
