Holiday Plaza Hotel is a 46-room hotel located at the business center of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan province. It is strategically located at the corner of Arellano and Blumentritt Streets, within walking distance from the city's commercial and retail establishments, banks and restaurants. It is also near the Saints Peter and Paul Metropolitan Cathedral, Rizal Park and the General Hospital.
Arriving guests at the Tuguearao Airport can avail of the hotel's free airport transer, and from the airport, it's just a 10-15 minute drive to the hotel. Just provide the hotel with your flight details so they can expect your arrival at the airport. Make sure that you also inform the receptionist that you will avail of the free airport transfer, a day prior your departure date.
We are very satisfied with the guest services. Starting from the airport, we were assisted by the driver with our luggage. We were welcomed by the security guards at the hotel's entrance lobby with a warm smile and greetings of good morning. Checking-in was quick. The receptionist at the front desk was very efficient and diligent.
After filling out the guest registration form and showing valid identification card, we were assisted by the hotel porter to our room. There's an elevator that services all four floors of the hotel building. Since our room was at the second floor, we just took the stairs.
The lobby and the hallways are bright and well decorated with colorful paintings and artworks, as well as an eclectic combination of modern and classic furniture pieces and decors. It was lunchtime when we arrived in Tuguegarao and we were very pleased that the aircon was already on when we entered our room.

We stayed in a Standard Room for two nights. The room has a queen size bed and is equipped with an individually controlled air-conditioning unit and a cable-ready LCD television. There's also free Wifi Internet access inside the room. The room measures 12sqm with enough space to fit the bed, a cabinet and a study table. There's also enough power outlets where you can charge your mobile phone and laptop. The room is generally clean and looks well maintained.
The ensuite bathroom is fairly spacious. There's hot and cold shower with excellent water pressure. The bathroom lacks a countertop though where you can place your toiletries, the toilette also lacks a bidet. It's a very basic bathroom but functional.
An overnight stay at the hotel includes complimentary plated breakfast for one persona at Max's Restaurant located at the ground floor of the hotel. At night, guests can enjoy a wide selection of drinks at Levitate Bar while enjoying live band performances. Both restaurants serve lunch and dinner and guests can request for room service if they prefer dining at the privacy of their room. There are also a number of restaurants nearby.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Holiday Plaza Hotel. We had a comfortable sleep during our two night stay at the hotel. We also enjoyed its central location and accessibility to public transportation. Most of all, it's a value for money accommodation in Tuguegarao City. We are pleased that we chose to stay at Holiday Plaza Hotel, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visits.
