Alhamdulillah, the Holy Month of Ramadan has officially started today, June 18, 2015 here in the Philippines. Ramadan Mubarak! A Blessed Ramadan to our Muslim brothers and sisters. May Allah bestow upon you the strength as you fulfill the month-long fasting, and may Allah bless you for all your efforts.
For non-Muslims in the Philippines, Ramadan is an opportunity and the perfect time to learn about the culture of our Muslim kababayans. Ramadan is also the perfect time to visit the beautiful mosques in Mindanao, just like in 2013 & 2014 when we visited various mosques in Cotabato City and Zamboanga City, Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur and Sulu provinces.
