During our visit to Richmonde Cafe, we were able to meet their Executive Chef, Jesse Factor, who gave us a tour of the different stations of the buffet. We started with the Appetizer Station which includes a soup, an assortment of cheese and freshly baked breads.

The same goes with the Creamy Pesto with Prawns. It had the perfect balance of flavors, creamy and moist but not oily. The flavor of the prawns was not too overpowering, just right to give the dish a subtle savory flavor.
Here is my plate with all the dishes from the Mains Station. I particularly loved the mixed seafood paella and the mahi-mahi in seafood sauce. I also loved the beef rouladine which I paired with the chateau potatoes. The chicken has a very aromatic flavor while the pork has a very comforting taste that is similar to our well-loved Pinoy barbecue. It was indeed a feast of international flavors in one plate.
For dessert, we had an assortment of cakes as well as servings of halo-halo. We also shared a platter of fresh fruits and finished off our dinner with coffee. When we thought dinner was over, Chef Jesse brought out a plateful of freshly baked Canadian chocolate chip cookies which were soft, a bit moist, and rich in chocolate flavor. It wasn't to sweet and according to Chef Jesse, the cookies don't harden.
Overall, we enjoyed our Friday Dinner Buffet at Richmonde Cafe. There's a good selection of dishes, no too many which makes it easier to choose which dishes to try. What's impressive is that every single dish do not only look appetizing, but they also taste really really good. And for P750.00 per person, this dinner buffet is really a great value for money. You can even dine here even if it is not pay day.
