Sunday Brunch at the HEAT Restaurant of EDSA Shangri-La Manila has become more exciting with the recently launched
Sunday Super Brunch which combines
HEAT's Signature Dishes with its specialty weekend buffet offerings Mad for Lobster and
Mad for Wagyu. The result is an extravaganza of the best of the best dishes HEAT is known for.
A buffet spread this extensive requires a map to be drawn so that dining guests won't get lost in this labyrinth of delectable dishes. Fortunately, these maps are printed out and serve as place mats on the dining tables. Let us walk you through your upcoming Sunday Super Brunch experience at HEAT.
|
Charcuterie Station (7) |
You can start your brunch with appetizers from the
Charcuterie Station (no. 7 on the map). HEAT has a wide selection of premium cold cuts, hams, sausage, artisan cheese, assorted nuts, dried fruits breads and jams. If you prefer something lighter, then you can check-out the
Salad Station (no. 5 on the map). You can customize your salad by choosing your mesclun greens, vegetables and dressings.
|
Soup and Noodles Station (8) |
To warm up your tummy, you can have a bowl of your favorite soup customized at the
Soup and Noodles Station (no. 8 on the map). We highly recommend their Singaporean Laksa!

It's now time to have some sushi and sashimi from the
Japanese Station (no. 6 on the map). You should try the
Signature Maki and Magic Cube Roll by Chef Yusuke Hino.
|
Japanese Station (6) |
If you are not into Japanese cuisine, then Italian must be something for you. Have your favorite pasta dish prepared for a la minute. The
Italian Station (not on the map) is located next to the
Foie Gras Station.

You are now ready for the main dishes. If you are a steak person, then the
Wagyu Station is perfect for you. Have your thick slice of
Wagyu Tomahawk Steak cooked to your preferred doneness. Other dishes include the Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek, the Wagyu Yakiniku Beef, and the Stewed Wagyu Beef Brisket. Variety of dishes may change every week.
|
Wagyu Station |
If you are a seafood person, then you will surely love the
Lobster Station which features a wide variety of lobsters including Boston, Slipper, Rock and other seasonal varieties such as Lobster tails, Pacific, Japanese, Tiger, and Bamboo.
|
Lobster Station |
You can then have your lobsters grilled with your choice of sauce. You'll never go wrong the garlic-butter sauce.
Another Highlight of the Sunday Super Brunch is the
Oyster Station. Fresh batches of baked oysters are continuously served on the buffet table as these dishes are some of the best-sellers.
|
Oyster Station |
If you are feeling adventurous, then you can try out the flavorful dishes at the
Indian Corner (no. 4 on the map). HEAT is one of the very few buffet restaurants in Metro Manila that serves Indian cuisine prepared by an Indian chef, so if you are looking for authentic Indian dishes, you should try HEAT's Indian Corner.
|
Indian Corner |
Some of the dishes featured at the Indian Corner are Chicken Tandoori, Paneer Masala, and Chickpea Daal. Featured dishes at the Indian Corner may change every week.
The
Wok Station (no. 3 on the map) features a variety of Asian viands which you can pair with steamed rice. Our top favorite is the
Coffee Spareribs which is a Singaporean dish which has a well balanced sweet and savory flavor.
|
Mixed Viands |
More viands are available at the
Dimsum Station. There's Hainanese Chicken, Roast Chicken, Lechon Macau and an assortment of dimsum including Pork Siomai, Hakaw and Siopao.

Finally for dessert, there is a wide selection of cakes and pastries at the
