CRU Steakhouse, the multi-awarded restaurant of Manila Marriott Hotel, recently rolled-out its best value-for-money dining offer yet. Starting 04 February 2018, steak-lovers can enjoy unlimited servings of U.S. Certified Angus Beef rib eye steak for only P1,300.00 nett per person.
This comes with a complimentary appetizer (choice of Garden Salad or Creamy Mushroom Soup), two side dishes (Organic Carrots and Baby Potatoes), and a serving of Classic Apple Pie. This offer is available every Sunday for lunch only (11:30am to 2:30pm).

This is a great value for money because when ordered separately, a serving of a Rib Eye steak will already cost you P2,700. With this promo, you don't only pay for half the price of a regular steak, you also get unlimited servings of it. The appetizer, side dishes and the dessert are just a bonus.
For appetizer, I personally prefer the Creamy Mushroom Soup. I was only able to order two servings of the steak. The first one I had was a thick slab of a medium steak, which the recommended doneness by CRU Steakhouse. It came with a serving of barbecue sauce on the side. My second serving was a medium well steak.
Between the two doneness I tried, I prefer the medium well because the meat has more flavor. It was not as juicy as a medium, but the fats are more reduced and the fats easily melt to the bite. I also enjoyed the baby carrots and the baby potatoes. They have the natural sweetness that matches the savory and salty taste of the steak.
The staff asked me if I wanted a third serving of steak. I know my limits when it comes to steak, so I politely asked for the dessert to be served instead. The Classic Apple Pie was served warm and with a halved fresh strawberry on the side. I really think this is a great deal especially for steak lovers. If you end up having only two servings of steak like I did, I think you still get great value of your P1,300.
