Planet 21 is the sustainable development program of AccorHotels, the parent organization of Novotel Manila Araneta Center. One of the key focus of the Planet 21 program is food. As part of the AccorHotels group, Novotel Manila Araneta Center commits to offer healthy, balanced and high-quality food by using locally grown and locally sourced ingredients. Novotel Manila Araneta Center also aims to reduce its food waste by 30% and promotes the use of sustainable seafood in its dishes by sourcing their seafood from suppliers that support responsible fishing methods.
In celebration of Planet 21 Day on 21 April 2018, Novotel Manila Araneta Center, in partnership with Meliomar Inc, launched a lineup of sustainable seafood dishes as well as drinks containing sustainable ingredients which will be available at the hotel's Gourmet Bar from 21 April to 20 May 2018. The dishes are available as a 5-course menu for only P1,400.00 nett. Dishes may also be ordered individually.
